Misbah-ul-Haq guided his men to the target with a superb unbeaten 66 off 80 balls with five boundaries. Action began from the second over of the day when a lightning throw from Dilshan at square leg, crashed into the stumps to signal the end of Asad Shafiq innings for two runs. Misbah pushed the ball towards Dilshan and set off for a single but Shafiq was late by a fraction of a second.Adnan Akmal couldn't do much when he drove the ball straight to Dilshan at extra cover to give Rangana Herath his third wicket of the innings. Abdur Rehman who slammed 18 in 18 minutes, including two massive sixes took his team past the 550-run mark enabling his skipper to apply the closure to the innings.
