Police and search parties have found the wife of Minister Wimal Weerawansa - Shashi Weerawansa, who had been reported as lost in the Kebiliththa area.
Reports say that Mrs. Weerawansa and a group had gone on a pilgrimage to the area in three vehicles.
Speaking to 'Lankatv', police spokesman SP Ajith Rohana said that the vehicles have been stuck in mud.
The group who had entered the jungle yesterday, was lost in the Block 03 area and police teams were deployed from Paanama and Kotiyagala area to search for them.
The Kebiliththa Devalaya, which is located in the deep south region of Sri Lanka, is considered extremely sacred by devotees of God Katharagama.
