Police Spokesperson SP Ajith Rohana begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting stated that the police team will be conducting investigations under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police in charge of Ratnapura.

 

The body of a 17 year old girl was found from a Rubber estate in Opatha – Kahawaththa yesterday.

 

Later on the body of the mother of the girl was also found from their house by the Police.

 

A senior police officer in Ratnapura stated that the mother and the daughter are believed to have been killed around 3 days ago.
